... upon taking care of business, my recently purchased jeans decide that I don't need the full use of my zipper... yes, it was stuck in the DOWN position. Wonderful!
I guess it'* a good thing there weren't any new men there to meet after all.
Might help meetin men if they see your zipper is down

Rob was closer and slower to react than I was... and for the record.. neither of us aim for such an experience.. Trucks are our friends..

I'll be glad when Murphy Week is over. A couple weeks ago I decided to change my power steering pump 'cuz it was leaking. Got into it and found out it I had electronic steering so I bagged the change until I decide what to do (new pump, used pump off ebay, seal kit?). This week comes around, P/* pump is still leaking and the radiator, obviously jealous of the attention the P/* pump is getting, decides to leak too. I orders a new radiator, installs it and the car should be happy right? Ha! Now the alternator has decided to do the way of the dinosaur. Fortunately I was swift enough to buy a lifetime alternator last time (that poor parts store is going to be so sorry) and it didn't cost me anything for the replacement. So, power steering pump, radiator, and alternator. Enough is enough! Hardly! When my wife got home from work yesterday I noticed she'd picked up a passenger - a freakin' huge staple in the right rear tire. WTH!!! The tire isn't leaking and I'm due for a new set so that staple'* staying put for the time being.

Want more? You got it. In addition to the Bonneville succumbing to Murphy Week, I find out my CRX registration expired and they won't let me on base. OK, so I run home and get the truck. All is cool. 2 days later I stick the new registration on and decide to go for a drive. That'* when I discovered I'd left the headlights on for 2 days. Crap.

I'll gladly huck it over the fence to whoever wants it. Fortunately it'* only cost me about $140 for a radiator. Battery charged up OK, alternator was a no cost replacement, verdict still out on the pump - it works, but leaks pretty good. I consider myself fortunate!
