Inspecting a high-mile SSEi...
What should I have a mechanic check out on a '92 SSEi with 155k miles on it? I'm looking into a long-distance sale, and I'm getting an inspection company to look at it if I decided to go through with it. Just want to know what to put into the Comments section about specific things for them to check. Thanks AGAIN, guys, hehe

Check for door and trunk badges. If they say "SSEi", buy it.
Biggest thing is the test drive, and again, look for the light coating of dust I mentioned earlier. You don't want evidence of a recent engine cleaning.

Anybody know of a good car inspection service? I can't check it out myself. I hate being in Florida, damn :(

I did clean the engine about 3 weeks ago...does that count?? I only cleaned it because it was nice out and I was bored. I also had the inner tie rods replaced last year along with an alignment.

Well, that does make me feel better
But...
What implications does the following have for me, if I decided to buy the car?
>"I posted in this section earlier this week that the SC nose cone bearings are a bit noisy. I am going to flush/change the SC oil this weekend just as a pre-cautionary. I also mentioned in that ealier post that I have all the bearings as well as the ZZP coupler just not yet installed. Does this pose a problem for you?? That is why I lowered my original asking price down to $2K. The car still runs and drives excellent, it'* just a tad squeaky."
