I'm getting cable!!
Finally decided to take the plunge. I'm in a chat with Courtney at Comcast right now verifying my credit and stuff, and setting up an appointment!
And, I may be able to expense the internet connection to the company, since I will have to check my machines on the weekends....

I had cable at my last apartment (Roadrunner. Part of the rent), but couldn't afford it at the house until recently. Now that it'* getting cold, and the car is finally paid off, and I can most likely expense off $45 a month of the bill to my employer, I finally decided it was time.
Now I just have to tell The Missus. The thing that makes that part easy is I can honestly say my new boss has been pressuring me about it. After our slight disaster last weekend (machine crashed with no one to monitor it) he'* been on my butt about it.

Its worth it Mos...
When I moved to my new property I had to go back to Dialup for 2 weeks... I think I just about died... I have the digital Cable/internet package...
I measure the speed the other day but forget what it was...
I actually had to wait 2 weeks untill they get get the cable installed on the poles to my property... Then I had a Guy come in and install the lines for the home... Cat 6 all the way through, with homerun for each outlet( 6 totall ) with one being specific for my Broadband... works great... Hardly ever had any issues

I pay like 54.99/mo for some slow *** cable from charter, only 3 mbps...out here where I live...its either that, or I go with DSL or Dial-up from CenturyTel, and well...thats not much cheaper to begin with...so I guess I'm just broke until I move somewhere else..
