Default If you've ever gotten a package from me..

What did you do when you got it?

Open it and enjoy your new parts is what I'd expect to hear. There are quite a few that had other plans though.

Echo...since he'* on the road.. opened his package, ignored the parts and took the coupons from the crumpled paper to Arby'*.

Cheetah.. opened his care package sent to the desert and told me I needed a cross cut shredder instead of the one I inherited from my parents. That wasn't good enough for this joker..he SENT me a cross cut shredder

There are a few others... I'll leave it for them to post though.

What do you do when the package arrives?

An ECC with proper manual override controls for fan/air direction, instead of the silly automatic fan direction. Later moved to PeterG to be installed in his 92 after Petey bought my 94.

The only suprise was the deal I got

Take the part out of the box and install it.
Throw the box in the trash.

What good is bit**ing if you can remedy the problem? Bill, honestly whenever I get a box from you, it'* like being 5 y.o at christmas all over again. I then take the box, my key'* and a beer out to the car and get to work.

I can't wait to get home...

Open it, complain about the weather for a couple of days (it'* too hot/cold to install parts) and then install the parts.

I've never bothered trying to read the newspaper used as packing, but....

This last one, I had to wonder why I found what seemed like the adhesive covering strips from a couple of maxi-pads... :?:

Only thing I ever got from you was the clips from when I attempted to put the purple trim panel back one. I promptly installed the panel. It propmtly fell off going down the road, and took all the clips with it, never found them.

I carefully removed the part from the box, took said part to the garage, put it in the vice, and got out the hammer.
