I try so hard trying to say stuff in a friendly manner but it is very hard typing this stuff. For those of you that spoke to me over the phone knows I am a very nice person. I have respect for ecveryone. I just don't understand why its different on paper or a computer?

Edited the post, agreed on the computer sounds diff vs in person. Ex GF wouldn't accept that when i talked to her online.... She said however she took it was how it was, not what I meant.... What i meant was worthless, just how she originally percieved it. Yeah there were lots of "emergency" phone calls to fix stuff up...

I'll never go back because I am used to the Bonneville size and luxury now, but I loved the GP I owned before the Bonnie...they are amazing cars that last forever and require far less in the way of maintanence than our Bonnies to keep running (I beat that thing up for 4 straight years, waiting 8,000-10,000 miles or more to do oil changes, never did a tranny flush in 215,000 miles, and let anything that broke stay broken for weeks...and it never failed to start and get me where I was going). I love my Bonnie, but I miss it still sometimes.
So I say GP, but it really depends on what you're looking for...if you want a sporty little 2 or 4 door with a lot of pick up and go that'll last forever, but don't mind sacrificing head room, cargo space, and uniqueness, go with the GP. If that'* not your cup of tea, go ahead and go with one of the others.

Yea ok if you are just an every day Joe who wants something everyone else has, go for the GP! Sure! buy a car that'* a cheaper runt bonneville that never made it (in my books)
blech.
no offense, and I'm probably going to read this later and think i sounded like a b*tch - but what you wrote about beating up your car and not taking care of it is exactly what gives women car "enthusiasts" bad names and promotes those stupid typical stereotypes about women.

In all fairness, most people don't know a lick about the cars they drive, some people don't really care, as long as the car starts they are happy. Lets not classify genders here, men are as guilty as women.
I believe that we learn from the errors of our ways and we learn to take care of our cars as we become more familiar with them.
My opinion is valid here, I have driven a 2002 GTP Special edition, its a monster car...hauls a lot of ***, for the record bad stereotypes are all over the place....**** I thought I put this god damn soapbox away :?
