I think I know what I want to do when I grow up.
I am about to turn 31, I have been married for 10 years as of last month, I have three kids, I have been in the army for 9 years and been combat deployed for over 3 of them. I have lived on both coasts, mid west and the south and I think I am just starting to learn what I want to do with my life....I am still very confused about a lot....but I am considering getting a degree in social work...I am more comfortable toting beanie babies over here than bullets....I never feel as good as when I am making a differiance in the lives of other people....I am often saddened, angry and worried about humanity....I want to change the world....my plan.....well....its a work in progress but I figure if I aim for the moon maybe I will at least hit the tops of the trees....I have no idea why I decided to type this here.....just tired of surfing the net for jobs that make a differance.....I am SO glad this deployment is almost at an end....it has been intresting, quite a learning experiance (how many people can say they have been to a wedding in an Afghanistan village?) But I need to move on......well thanks for letting me waste your time :P

I'm in the guard going on my first deployment in a couple months. I'm also testing right now to become a cop. I hear you loud and clear on wanting to make a difference.
Thank you for caring about people and thank you again for serving.

Actualy, I will be going to Fort Bragg, NC when I get back, then have to make a trip to Iowa to pick up the wife and kids. I was in the process of changing posts from washington to NC when I got deployed....on a side note, drove the SSEi from washington state to iowa then on to NC with a return trip to Iowa before leaving the states....cars were ment to be driven...
