what'* the worst is when you're stretching in bed, say.
And you feel your calf muscle on the back of your leg SLOWLY beginning to pull.
You've stretched too long, too far - you're past the point of no return.
The muscle slowly continues to pull, and you're lying in bed going nononononononono and then it goes PULL! OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

The throat thing has also happened to me many of times, but it usually passes pretty quick. I've been told to eat more bananas for the potassium content.

oh yeah, the calf muscle is the worst one of all to pull. I've had those in the morning too. when you stretch make sure you don't level your feet with your leg... that'll help prevent it. Try to keep your feet vertical. (atleast I"ve found it helps. )

And what about those eye strain twitches??? That doesn't hurt, but it sure is annoying!
