Yes I knew that Jim, that was just a very nicely modded CTS with about 375hp (dyno'd). The engine cover under the hood of the CTS-V I saw today said LS2 on it. That motor is made in the St Catharines plant I was at last week. There were plant tours but I had to leave early to go to work and this year they were having tours of the dyno lab. Remember the LS2 and the new LS3 vette engines are produced here in this plant.

Pics of what comes out of this plant:

Ya Rob if it was an STS-V for $49000 new I'd of bought it myself on the spot. Still the CTS-V is a nice ride, just 100 horses less.......and about $50k less as well!

It'* at John Bear Pontiac in St. Catharines.......sitting on the used car lot........it was a Factory Exec car from the US (probably from Detroit) and they're anxious to sell it!

By comparason they have a 2005 CTS with Cadillac installed custom Corsa exhaust and CTS-V badges and rims plus dealer installed CTS-V calipers with about 30000 miles on it and they are asking $42,000.

CTS-V > Bonnie... The bonne is nowhere near as nice a car as the CTS in any aspect. The only thing it has going for it over the V is size really...
