You do mention shopping more than most women.
How many pairs of shoes do you have?

It took awhile but it did come to me.
MOS95B Do like me, walk into WalMart with a 0% interest card and go oooooooooo......
Finally got my new speakers in, and while I had her apart, did some maintenance.

Okay, clearly my comments has shocked you.
The 'vette is not going anywhere any time soon so that can be put off another year (as long it'* properly stored.) Pick a car that you enjoy driving EVERYDAY and fix it, then do what Matt said, just do one fix a day (not drugs, fix the car) yes it'll be slow and cold but you'll be proud when it'* done, however if it'* minor fix that takes a hour, I think you can do another fix in the same day.
how about that? you want to know worse? Look at my uncle, his house is not even finished and he'* been living in it for about 20 years. yes it had a upstairs but hasn't been opened for 10 years (it'* not even drywalled), he then built a two car garage with a apartment over it, well that was 7 years ago and the apt is not even plumbed, wired or even drywalled, hell there'* no walls, oh and he has a 68 Cuda that needs painting, wow 10 years and no paint yet. Do you want to be like him?

All I said to your original post was that "I'm still trying to figure that one out."
As for doing one fix per day, my problem is getting motivated to do any fix any day.
And for comparing me to you're Uncle, OUCH.....I've been having motivational problems for about the last 4 months, NOT 20 years bro.
And I thought we we're friends..... :P ......J/K.
