Finally got this all set up... and I got to admit that I have been spending a lot of time playing "Max Payne 2"!! I love this computer... and its even better typing on a computer that I paid for!! Digital camera is in the mail along with a 256MB memory card, so I can't wait to play with some new photo stuff....

I am not a dell person, I build all my computers. I've found that Dell, Gateway, HP, Compaq, etc... all have their downsides. My built pc'* don't have down sides, except for the big window being on the wrong side! :( . Oh well, I am also not much of an intel guy either, I love my AMD athlon 2600+ which I got 8 months ago for $100!! Plus my stepmom has a dell system with similar specs as mine, her'* has a 2.4ghz processor, mine runs at 2, but is equal to that of a 2.6 [hence the 2600+ name], she has a bad *** 19" LCD monitor, I have an *** of a 17" [viewable] monitor from 8 years ago. She has plain 5.1 surround sound.. I have dolby [analog, no digital :(] 5.1 surround sound, She has 512 ddr 2400ram, I have 512 of ddr 3200 ram, she has a built in video card, I have an ATI 9200SE [POS, but it was 10$], She has a 2x DVD + R burner, I have an 8x DVD +/- R/RW multiformat burner. Granted she bought this system last summer, but she paid over $3000 for hers. And I know over time I have not spent more than $1200-$1500 on this system. So you save money when you build your system[*]...
