Every Jap car I have owned I have killed. My Nissan made it 93k before it blew up. My toyota 108k and tranny death w/fire.

Why on earth would anyone drive a shoebox on wheels ?
Anyhow.. they can be good cars if you don't expect much from them.

I was a Japenese car hater too. Until I discovered our Honda Civic. You guys can **** and moan all you want - that Civic is leaps and bounds better than the domestic competition: Ford Escort, Chevy Cavalier, or Dodge Neon. 37 MPG ain't too shabby either.

Little cars with manual steering can be a blast to drive, no matter the make. You really get a better feeling for the road when you don't have all the fancy power stuff in the way.

My husband and I are looking into getting a new bonne. My Trailblazer is getting between 18-20 Miles per gallon right now. We think the motor has something wrong with it and when $3.38 per gallon looks good, there'* obviously something wrong.
