Well tomorrow I have to get up at 6am to go to my OC spray certification, next month I have to take my 40 hour lethal weapons certification and the following month I have to take my expandable baton certification. Last month I got my hazmat awarness certification and in august I got my bloodborn pathogens and pa right to know certifications. I'm so tired, I need a vacation
However if there was a Bonneville certification I would be right on that with a smile.

I am a security officer at a community college and those are requirements. I have to pass next months lethal weapons or else I lose my job. Lethal weapons (PA Act 235) is one level below state police officer. In fact my certification is through the state police. Being act 235 certified permits me to carry my gun on duty, which is required by my job. I started there in august and have 6 months to get this or lose my job. I have more training like first aid, private investigation, security force management, Threat assesment training probably the 1st of next year. I have a total of 11 certifications and trainings I have to get. I am going to be more trained than most cops when its all done with.

All i have to do to become a regular police officer is just simply take an act 120 course which is 6 weeks I think. I plan to go through that after I get into shape. The college pays for everything. After 1 year there they will pay for any class I want to take, even for a masters degree. I think after my year I am going to get a degree in criminal justice and take some law classes. If I am still working there in 16 years my son will get free college until he'* 23.
