I'm 19, I bought the Pontiac off my parents, I can understand how someone might think it was your parents' car. Almost all of the people I see driving Bonnevilles are either middleaged or older. Most of my friends drive beater Hondas, Toyotas, etc. My car is a welcome change. Most people mistake it for a more expensive car, it'* easy to work on and fairly powerful.
I doubt you will get an accurate reading on the average age of the Bonneville owner here, I'm guessing we are mostly young guys here on this site.

The Results
For those keeping count, here are the statistics thus far:
-Number of respondants: 36
-Average age (arithmetic mean): 23.9 yrs
-Youngest: 16 yrs
-Oldest: 45 yrs
-Median: 20.5 yrs
-Quartile 1: 19 yrs
-Quartile 3: 26.5 yrs
-Standard Deviation: 2.8 yrs
In other words, we're generally a young bunch, with a few older, wiser outliers. I suspect the perponderance of young folk on the board is due to the penchant of 20-somethings to use the internet more than baby-boomers. Thoughts?

I have a hunter Green Bonneville that I got in November 1994 (it was a 93, with 22,000). I was 18 when I got it. In winter, when I put the steel wheels and snow tires on, it looks like an undercover cop car, especially since I put a set of high intensity driving lights behind the grille!!!!

19 here. Proud owner of a 93 SSE which I have had since I was 16. I fell inlove with the Bonnevilles when I looked at a parent'* friend'* 92 SSEi, but when that sale fell through, I searched for another. bought the 93 with 104,000 mi on it and 3 years later it is running strong with 140,xxx mi on it. I have a couple friends who have SE'*, but other than them, it is all old people driving them around here... and I have only gotten my car to 107. anyone know if there is a speed limiter?
