How much does the length on the air hose impact compressor performance?
Going to buy a flexzilla hose to run a 1/2 impact wrench. I have a 120 volt compressor.
Wondering how much the length of the hose degrades the air delivery. I would like a 100' length, but don't want the hose to take up so much energy that the impact wrench won't function. They also sell 25' and 50' lengths.
Any thoughts?

Length has less to do with it than the air tool and the compressor.
A 120psi compressor will run most tools well. However there are a good amount of cheap tools out there. The cheaper the tool, often the less efficient it is. Meaning it uses more air and air pressure. A 150psi compressor will work much better on the same length of hose.
I 've run 50' or 100' standard hose (3/8" I think) w/o an issue. If you go up in size to the 1/2" then your volume possibility is greater.
Overall though, look at your compressor and tools more than your hose.
And ps..you'll love that hose.

I did notice a drop in performance when going from a 3/8 hose to a 1/4 coiled hose.
