How much debt do you have?
#23
I have ZERO debt.
Of course I am 19... and currently have no job, but no debts. My car was paid for in cash that I earned... and I make my money by doing tune-ups, oil changes, brakes, etc on the side. I do about 2-3 jobs a week, depending.
Living with Dad has its' bonuses, no rent... no utilities, just a cell phone bill.

I have 5 credit cards - 3 are $0 balance, and one will be canceled on the 22nd. No one needs 5 From the 2 that I do have, I have 11K between the two.
I have a signature loan with $1300 balance, and my 91 Suburban with $1800 balance.
No mortage. The Bonneville and Blazer are paid off
I'm sitting at $14,100. I don't think that is bad, but I do think that for the debt I have, it could have spent the money better!

Big fat zero for me, woohoo! But that'* only because of my great parents. They paid about two thirds of my college tuition (about $20K) and forgave it a few years ago after I had paid them a couple thousand or so.
It was pretty cool to plunk down cash (well, a check) for a three year old car.

Right now its the computer I just bought for $1100 and I paid $300 down so I have $800 in debt right now.
Living at home = only $1-200 in bills (helping my mother out)
I will have a credit card soon.... Just for emergencies and clothes. (I'm in the middle of going to a 4x and all my stuff is 3x)

Student loans - around $2k right now (first semester). They don't count right now though
Credit card - $0 - I put about $100 on monthly and pay it off monthly.
Car - Paid cash with money I got from graduation (bummer) because the driver who hit my other car was under insured. I'd have all my student loans paid off if it weren't for that *******.
I have $400 loaned out to a very good friend of mine that I've loaned over about $3k in the past three years. He pays me $75/mo (yes I charge interest). He'* NEVER missed/been late on anything he'* borrowed, and he helps me out if I'm in a pinch, so it works out great. He'* a college student and makes his money by wheeling and dealing custom/OEM parts for his TT, so his income isn't 100% consistent, but when it comes in... he'* rolling in it.
