I think I will keep mine until the repairs cost more than it'* worth (just like I did with my last car), but at the point that it becomes unreliable, I will go for either a GXP (if I decide I like those) or another 3800 SC car...maybe a Park Ave Ultra.

I guess I'm not really completely loyal to Bonnies, but I am loyal to the American Luxury/Sport cars...love the SC 3800.

Not very. If it were my car (which it'* not, it'* dad'* decision :P ), and an opportunity to get a MINT Toyota Cressida came up, then I'd have to sell it (oh I dunno, get $2000-$2500 for it, Canadian) and get the 'yota.

i think im gonna keep mine forever, the other day i thought about how cool it would be to make it a project car, and swab everything out and use the body for soem lowrider hotrod type thing... i like the thought of that. but of course that would be waaay in the future, when all these body styles are rusting away! and id keep my 40th color too, just get it enhanced.

I'm gonna keep mine for as long as I possible can. I mean think about it. After the car is 15-20 years old, putting new tires on it is more than the value of the car. I figure as long as the body and interiror are in good shape, anything mechanical can be fixed. And fixing it will more than likely be cheaper than buying a different car even if it cost more than the bonnie is worth.

I'm keeping this car forever. Eventually everything will have been replaced, and it will be like I have a new car . Just like glorkar said.. once the car gets 15-20 years old, tires are worth more than the car. However.. she'* worth it . I will definatly be burried with her!

I'm too practical to stick with one car forever...however I do see more Bonnevilles in my future.

Still want something smallish and sportier with a 5-spd at times though.
