Well the trip home was pretty un-eventful, which is a good thing, lol. So now it'* time to post pictures
Here is the ride we used for our 1300 mile trip

Those wires are all the positive wires. There are 4 of them coming off the main Generator. We had to replace all 4 of them. You can't really tell by the pictures, but there was next to no room to get access to them. The people at the shop didn't even know how we were going to get to them.
It was a fun trip and a great experience.

Whoah!!! Where in MN did you end up? Twin Cities, Duluth, St. Cloud, Moorhead, or International Falls? Or am I a long ways off? Those are the only place I can think of in MN that would have a garage for locomotives.

We stayed in Duluth, and the shop was in Proctor.
