I think i will leave it to Mothers, Meguiars, and Armorall to clean and protect my dash...

I think it is just based on the fact that a lot of Nascar fans don't like him. According to Jeff Foxworthy, a lot of people don't like him because you can actually understand what he is saying after a race.
