Hey, i just thought i'd drop by and say hello.
Some of you have probably noticed I haven't been around here much anymore and I thought i'd tell you if anyone was worrying.
1. My new bands starting to get going and thats taking up a good chunk of my time. www.brandywinemusic.com
2. A Girl
3. I'm not gonna do much more tunning on my Bonneville. I'm looking for a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass/442 that i can have a 455CID in it. Or possibly an old GTO/GS/Chevelle but i have my heart set on a Olds.
4. Tired of same old topics in performance sections and no vendor support for our cars.
I'm currently working on a CAI heat shield box out of Aluminum and some Ram Air scoops. I'm not gonna do much after that. Probably just a pulley and muffler. The bonney has just turned into my everyday car. I need reliability over everything else.
I'll probably stop by and say hello once and a while but it won't be often.

Bonney is gonna be my everyday car.
And the new toy when restored will be 5 speed, fuel-injected, major HP, 3 season cruiser.

There sure is no substitute for displacement..
But the way gas price is.. by the time you get the beast fine tuned and modded.. it'll cost you $10 in gas just to warm up and get out of your driveway
But it would still be worth it..
Good luck with the band.. oh.. and the girl too.. hee hee

Well with 3:73 rear end gears and a new 5 speed (.64 5th OD) w/fuel injection I can probably get about 20ish MPG highway. Which isn't too bad for that beast.
The 455 when built up right (oil restrictors etc) is pretty reliable. With ported Edlebrock Heads w/roller rockers and ported Intake manifold. Topped with a hydrolic roller cam aswell. So instead of a 5k RPM readline stock...I can go up to 6.5k RPM on a big block And have about 600 Lbs trq under 3000 RPM. Big lift with a tame idle. Oh modern technology is grand.
Also planning on doing full suspension/steering/braking upgrade so I can have similar handling to a modern F-Body. Some 275/35/18s in the front and 315/30/18 in the rear with modern rubber hitting the ground. I'm going to do the G-machine route. But I plan on keeping the look of the car stock besides the wheels.
I want the ultimate street car muahahah.
