Perhaps they could work with a side wall. They would give alot more or less roll perhaps. plus if enginered right would they need to be infalted with a side wall. I guess the question would be on performance and wear. VS cost and such.

I'm willing to venture that there aren't sidewalls now because it'* for show.
If it ever makes it to market, I'm betting that they'll cover it up.

Relatively old news, i tihnk a better idea for a tire that wont go flat is sometihng with a soft foam core and the tire would be around it for traction and strength. better than solid rubber cause that would be heavy and not as flexible

Problem with a soft foam core is it has "memory". Look at your favorite chair. Even when your butt'* not in it, your butt'* in it....

yea but it would still be airtight because of the surrounding tire, if it got a puncutre it would eventually go flat but you could have a week ro something to change the tire
