Sadly, no. The only other option, cortizone shots directly into the tendon sheaths, has already been attempted on the other fingers, and on one that needs working on now. Sometimes the shots work, and actually did work on my left thumb (so far). But sometimes the shots do nothing, or make it worse over time, and that'* the gamble.
What really sucks is that I won't be able to do much at SEBF this year at all, wrenching wise. Unless someone keeps a pot of near-boiling water nearby to soak my hands with to loosen the knots a bit

I saw Brad after the surgery... He was still sore and had the stitches out but had a better range of motion.. Before that he could easily drop a bottle of coke... Just couldn't make a fist for crap..
after the surgery he improved... But here it is a good year later and he'* showing the same signs again..
I do feel for ya buddy...
But in due time you'll be on the rebound.. I'm sure Karen will let us know how loopy you are after the surgery
