Usually mine will run 5-8 Minutes and shut off... But I'll be back to normal soon...lol

2000 sq ft under air in Florida does that... My neighbor has 2300 sq ft and a 5 ton unit.. The good thing is that the new technology had been in place when I got my 4 Ton, but not the neighbors... his 5 ton chews some wattage.... Mine is considerably more efficient, as well I have far better insulation too...
My Family in WV has a similar unit.... looks to be a 2-2.5 ton.... when its really hot it seems to have a hard time keeping up..
How may hot months do you have up there frank?

The first day at around 90 F here was about the beginning of June and I don't know how many months it will last. Here it'* more about the humidity. I remember the first time I went to Vegas, it averaged 104 F but very little humidity, it felt like around 80 here. You could easily get burned there but you'd never know it untill it'* to late. It is a dry heat there.

What a bunch of Biatchin whiners..... I'm ready to run for the car...oh wait.. superchargers SUCK in hot humid weather.
Yeah..the weather had been nice lately. Last night found me leaning over a 99 Maxima changing coils while it was still smoking hot and the humidity didn't help much. I think I left almost as big of a puddle on the floor from sweat as the AC from the car.

WHINERS!!!!
It'* been holding close to 98* the past week here. Now today its 73* due to a cold front that dumped a billion gallons of water on us yesterday but thats ok. Back to the mid-upper 90'* next week.

All of the little odds and ends helped offset any Power loss
Home AC is now fixed and functional 100%.... Got it set at 77 and its back to its good old cooling habits.... Run for a few and shuts off like normal...
Thank God..
It was getting over 80F in here a while ago
