Holly crap Don, I believe mines a 1 1/2 ton unit and I should have a 2 1/2 ton. I wish I was able to purchase the unit myself but I heard I can't since I don't have a license. I ended up installing the present one myself but it was fairly easy since the lines were already precharged and I did the electrical myself. I ended up getting the unit off of a friend, but haven't seen him in over 10 years.

The first day at around 90 F here was about the beginning of June and I don't know how many months it will last. Here it'* more about the humidity. I remember the first time I went to Vegas, it averaged 104 F but very little humidity, it felt like around 80 here. You could easily get burned there but you'd never know it untill it'* to late. It is a dry heat there.

What a bunch of Biatchin whiners..... I'm ready to run for the car...oh wait.. superchargers SUCK in hot humid weather.

Yeah..the weather had been nice lately. Last night found me leaning over a 99 Maxima changing coils while it was still smoking hot and the humidity didn't help much. I think I left almost as big of a puddle on the floor from sweat as the AC from the car.

not to mention the power loss from the A/C being cranked to the max.
