I purposely avoid my name getting on the internet. And done a dam good job of it.

Years ago, my name was all over. I spent a good month sending Emails to search engines telling them to remove my information. They grumbled, but did it. Now, I'm hardly out there.

Just did a search and not one hit on the first page that is even close to being relevant to me. Probably because of the common first name (still odd though since I have such an uncommon last).

I havent yet.

I found my name in a Indiana petition to let a convected felon for aggravated arson out of jail early, the petition stated I was a Army recruiter and he set my apartment on fire and then I wrote a letter of recommendation for him. The petition was all wrong, but they did let him out early- and I never new any of this happened. I was never a Army recruiter and never lived in an Indiana apartment. This young man'* father worked for my while I commanded a unit this young man would come with his dad to work a times and this young man would visit with me. I wrote a nice letter about this young man to the judge, but it somehow was used and then twisted to fit an appeal process that worked. I would never of known this happened if it was not for Google....
