You can do original stuff in PS, but it'* not a vector based program, so scaling is an issue.

Sweet! I must say, I like the final version best too, mostly because it mimics the SSEi badge the closest. The red "i" is perfect. But it is also the most readable out of most of those.
Whenever I have done logos I've ended up with several choices or the client too. And I've had my share of picky clients. I don't think they ever used profanity though.

We had our different preferences for awhile. He made a couple final tweaks to all of them, then I replied back after looking at a pic of my SSEi badge.
The final result was perfection as far as I'm concerned.

Impressive.
Lots of well-deserved kudos have gone to Haro, but let us not forget to give credit where credit is due. Were it not for Willwren'* constant badgering, browbeating, and cussing, the final product would not have been as classic as it is. Profanitizing is hard work. Good job Will - take a day off, you deserve it!
