Happy F*cking Birthday to me*VENT*
Got screwed out of my b-day this year.
Had to go out and rescue my stupid, crack-head, junkie cousin from himself AGAIN.
He got involved with some bitch with a maniac for a father and instead of letting it go,
he got into it with him and got arrested. When he made bail, the manager of his apartment building told him he didn't like having cops around, so get out.
He couldn't get into the homeless shelter because he'd worn out his welcome there before he
got the apartment with the GF. So he goes to the dope-house and ends up in the hospital.
So, ON MY BIRTHDAY, I get to go and bring him to my parents' house where he stays until last night,
(also ruining my Mother'* b-day, four days after mine.) when we finally take him to the shelter here, where he SAYS he'* going to get hooked up with rehab, AGAIN. :?
I couldn't go anywhere during this whole debacle, because, although my parents trust him not to steal from them, I DON"T.
So I spent six days with all the car and house keys locked in my room.
And I can't even tell my Mom this, because he'* family. F*ck me.
And, on top of everything else, when I went to go get him I got pulled over by a trooper and got a ticket for 75 in a 60 zone.
Keep in mind that I'm in the trucking industry.
Also during the course of the weekend, our old freezer gave up the ghost, ruining gods know how much food,
and a fox skin my Mom was going to have turned into a hat for my Dad. So now we have to spend who-knows-what to get another freezer,
after the expense of a buying a new car and repairing the Bonnie so it can be sold, and on top of THAT, we STILL need to replace the roof on the house!
FFFFFFFFFF***************************************C CCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, very little sympathy left there. I try talking to him about taking responsiblity for his addiction and all he gives me is "it'* a disease, I can't do it on my own, you don't understand". He refuses to acknowledge that he has any choice in the matter. No concept of personal responsibility for his problems.
Besides this is the 4th time he'* f*cked up like this. I'm done feeling sorry for him.
The worst part is that he has two wonderful kids, one of whom has a rather serious health condition. And it'* not like their mother is any kind of great parent. Her house is a f*cking pit, she goes though f*ck-buddies like kleenex, and she has no idea of how to handle kids. My cousin is a far better parent to those kids than she is, when he'* clean. So not only is he screwing up his own life, but is kids are getting screwed, too.

Yeah, I guess from a little distance, it'* kinda funny, in a pathetic, frustrating way.
Feels like my life is some sort of perverted cross between Shakespeare and H.P.Lovecraft.
