Hans, A question about my newly aquired Dell.
Ok, I am wanting to upgrade the memory (currently 512) to 1GB. According to the owners manual, it takes PC2100, but someone told me that PC3200 will work in it fine. Is this true? It'* a Dimension 2350 with the service tag 80RYN21.

Looks like it has Two 256mb in it right now Right?
Far as if PC3200 will work, most of the time it will work, it will just run at a slower speed.
You will Not get any speed in cress with the faster memory,
But far as if the dell Motherboard will work with it, ill leave that one to Hans.

the 400Mhz FSB P4'* went to at least 2.6ghz. Other than that you would need to find out if your motherboard can support other (higher) FSB speeds.
There is also a 2.7ghz Celeron but with 1/4 the cache of the p4 it would probably not be worth it.
