Euh, quakes only happen along fault lines in the Earths crust, and those are everywhere (major and minor fault lines). Tropical weather bring brutal atmospheric storms that we really don't get in colder climates.

The only problem we have with the snow up here is when you southerners get caught up here int he snow and f*** up our roads cause you can't handle it

A little bit of snow is quite fun, actually.
You get to practice 4 wheel drifts a low speeds without excessive wear on the tires.
We had sun today and dry roads. The SC loves the cool 40* air. :P

Michigan has Brutal atmospheric conditions....called lake effect..lol Every year is a new treat. Sometimes bad snows rival to that you'd find in the artic getting feet of snow in 1 hour. Severe Storms flaring up over the lake causing what michiganders call Straight-line wind[normal people call them tornados
] Either way, there is a saying amoung the meteorologists around the US. "If you can predict the weather michigan, you can anywhere else in the world" due to the instability.
