Would the fact that it'* a 95 also indicate the mixed OBD I/II configuration? If so, it might be tough to get the car scanned for codes without spending some $$$. Just a thought.

Okay, I should have been more clear about what I knew in the first post...
the '95 LeSabre has a Series I in it. If it'* got the linear EGR and that other Mixed OBD **** I don't know, but I know it has a Series I. I'd put money on it
fact is, the Series II DID come a year late to the LeSabre. Sorry not to state that in the first post. Didn't know it would cause such a commotion!
