GTX vs. Comp G
Is there really a competition between these two cars?

Sorry, but thats the pic of the GPX. Another GM confusing theory. LOL! The GTX looks just like the GT, GTP but has the same hood scoop as the GPX.

K.. make it easy.. tell us what the difference is .. they both look like toilet cars to me.. and I can't tell the difference.. and I'm too lazy to go read through the whole thing.. so minus the cosmetic.. what performance oriented things are done to both?

The pic is a prototype GPX in 1995. The GTX has a supercharger and Ram Air producing 260 hp with 295 torque. The comp G has 260hp-280 torque

That Picture is the G6 concept car. It is not the GTX. The GTX has stripes and is as fast, if not faster, than the Comp G,(assuming the GTX is supercharged) because it has a ram air hood and SLP exhaust. Besides the fact that I think the 97-03'* look much better than the '04'*. I have been trying to get used to the '04'* and like them, but I can't.
A GTX is a kit that can be purchased. You buy a Grand Prix, either a GT or GTP, and then send it to SLP (and give them $4000) and they put on the hood, spoiler, exhaust, etc.... So just because it is a GTX does not mean it is Supercharged.
