I just read it in my Road and Track:
Cobra */c is at:
0-60.........4.9
0-100......11.1
1/4........... 13.3 @ 108.1
GTO is:
0-60.........5.3
0-100......12.9
1/4........... 13.8 @ 103.8
I'm sorry to say but the GTO would lose... I really don't care, I think that they are pretty damn nice cars, and I was just having a discussion with my dad about looking at one in the spring.

I don't know about stock trim... but a few easy bolt ons (pulley, x-pipe, cats, intake, etc.) and the new stangs FLY!!! I got a video on my computer of a new stang going 0-160 in like 15 seconds with only bolt ons!!
BTW here are corvette #'* just for a comparison

Z06:
0-60.........4.5
0-100......9.9
1/4........... 12.8 @ 113.5

After weve seen GM supercharge one of their best engines, the 3.8L, I think its boosted LS1 or LS6 time.
Can anyone say, 450 hp euro competition sedan in a Bonne, and optional engines in the Vette, and GTO?
