Wow, glad they put Ponitacs best in there. Wouldn't wanna make Pontiac look good or anything by putting a CompG or, dare I say it, New GTO in the game. Any car that can run a 13.2 for under $33K, we wouldn't want that kino of car on there, would we?

Folks, the game is made in Japan. Do you honestly think they would put an emphasize on American cars? If the game was made in America would we put an emphasize on imports? Probably not. You ask why the P.O.* Taurus SHO that runs 16s in the quarter is in there. Because the engine is made by Yamaha. Where is Yamaha made? Japan. You also ask why the Vibe and Sunfire are in it too. Because they look like imports. We all know that Bonnevilles, particualry SSEi'* are better than a lot of cars on there. However, the Bonneville is the definition of an American sports sedan. Hence not an import, hence not on GT4.

I would say I'm surprised that there aren't some other cars in there like the new GTO, but perhaps they couldn't get rights for some reason, however I don't know why GM would pass that up, but maybe some other game has rights. I guess, as a developer you have to draw a line somewhere. Maybe they used some certain stats to figure out what they wanted to use based on some kind of sales.
As far as the Stratus and Intrepid in the last one, I can't vouch for the intrepid, but the Stratus is fairly popular for cosmetics. It'* also Dodge'* name used on racecars.
Just for example. If you go to Cardomain.com, you have (Stratus/Cirrus/Breeze) almost 1000 entries for a car that'* had 9 years in production. Bonneville has 512 total for how many years? Also, I'm a member of Stratusphere and also here and there is a totally different activity. I just check the member #'* Stratusphere 2564 registered (purged 1700 @ end of September) but BonnevilleClub is up to 3386 and I don't know if there'* been a recent purge of inactives. Stratus has a lot more cosmetics available. Even though both cars are Sedans, the Strat is more apt to fit in with a Tuner-image.
