group projects suck

Damn B2, you're loaded down.
Last semester in my Engineering Graphics class (Using Inventor) we had a group project as a final exam. I was way ahead of the most of the class, me and 3 other guys in the class had previous experience with AutoCAD, Inventor and the like. The four of us should have teamed up, but i got with two guys, one of which showed up rarely, the other guy I thought he knew somewhat what he was doing. But we were basically supposed to design a product and have a whole presentation on it and all. I (almost regrettably) missed the day the two of them chose what we were going to make (Missed that class to venture down to Florida for SEBF ) But they decided on some watermelon cannon, anyway, I did my part while one guy kept 'forgetting his flash drive which had all of his work on it' and the other guy didn't show up half the time. I took up most of the work near the end realizing they didn't do hardly anything. Then on top of that both of them said they would write the paper...guess what, I wrote it the day of the presentation.
I somehow managed a B out of that mess, and being that was an exam grade its weighted heavier so didn't get the A I clearly could have gotten easily....o well

any reason to believe that partner just used something cheap like Frontpage to do his programming? it shows accurately in most browsers but breaks just about every rule imaginable and makes the code look monstrous.

We do all of our coding in MS Visual Studios. I've watched him try to code. I think he is dyslexic or something. His indentation, spelling, and code logic are all off. Plus he never comments any of the code either. So basically the whole code is screwed. He gave me a code last week that had 36 errors. I thanked him and went home, started from scratch and finished it at about 4:00 in the morning. Yes, group work sucks.

i know what you mean. I use Expressions Web and then i hit up the code view and "fix" it to look like i want it to.
no, this person did it in notepad but was just lazy with the coding.
for example,
<html> and </html> tags where all missing.
an open body tag without a closing tag
most all the closing tags where missing for that matter...
and it was just a jumbled mess too...

i use notepad when im on windows but since my school rolled in my nifty mac and Adobe CS3 with my loan, i now use dreamweaver. I code it myself but it helps because you can link files much easier and also view what you have made and test it with different browsers.
