NOT if you live in California. He took on an alien predator and kicked it'* trash. No gang of mere mortals is going to take this governor out.

PS - I think the Secret Service is monitoring your posts. There'* not a van with dark tinted windows parked outside your house, is there?

Have you ever driven a GTO?
If not, do yourself a favor and drive one first. You may not need to take off the governor to get your kicks. 0-60 itself is worth the price of admission.

If you need a GTO forum, ls1gto.com will have all your answers and more.

And, by the way, GTO'* aren't limited to 120........

I'm not sure what the LS1 PCM is limited too. Several in the Firehawk community have had their LS1 Hawks over 130 MPH, including me.

IMO, fast isn't where the fun is. 1st and 2nd offer more than enough enjoyment to wet your whistle!

No offense, but If you have to ask how to remove the limiter, you probably shouldn't be taking a car past 130.

I definetly wouldn't be taking a 94 bonnie past 140 without some serious checks/work to it to ensure it'* all up to snuff.

actually limitor wont let it go past 150 mph...... i have been really bored but dream car is gto and if i have enough money/time to get one then ya im going to trick it out..... i have done my research.... stock is 400 hp 400 ft/lb of torche 0-60 in 4.32 secs.... (not sure on .32 part but some where along four secs) and people have put twin turbo on it wich jumped it up to 576 hp and i think 563 ft/lb of torche... dont know 0-60 on it that sorry..... but the reason i asked in the beggining is because i have heard the the govanor/limiter which ever one you wanna call could be built in transmission or could be a little chip.......... its in lounge so dont throw a fit about going to gto forum..... i like you guys better
