Hm..why not find an old 3800? That'* what i'm doing, so if something does happen i am more familiarized with the engine. I'm drivin an 89 Buick LeSabre this winter ..i'm sure you could find one for cheap just like what i have.

I'm with Alien on this one, find an older "used" 3800 so you can fix anything in particular that may go wrong during your winter driving. As for me I detune the Redrocket. Rims come off and N20 bottle goes inside.

something thats cheap, cheap to fix & runs good. Doesnt matter what it is IMHO( I only buy cars with waranties though).
Hell, if I needed to i'd sport a chevette( used to have one but I had a small block in it), if it meant having to get to work & back.
