You want a good burnout car? Find a 78 Olds Delta 88 LS. I had one when I was in the Army. I called her the Juggernaut. WIth the rocket 350 setup in there, I could roast a set of tires!! Whether just rompiong it at the light, or powerbraking her in a parking lot, she loved to make smoke. I have a pic of her somewhere I should scan in. My ex said she cried when she sold the Juggernaut (I was in Panama, waiting to get out and move up here. She couldn't move 2 cars by herself)

IMO, that 84 T/A isn't the burnout car you're after! That 305 is a dog and with only a 3.27 rear-end, you're not likely to get much out of it!! My T/A is a 301 (4.9 L) and it sucks!! It'* all I can do to get a brake torque out of it! That'* why the 403 is being rebuilt and will be put in this winter.
Go for a mid to late 70s Chevy with the 350 and lower gear ratio. Or, find a mid 70s Pontiac with the 400 engine and 5 speed manual. You'll be good to go then!
