I never was really seeking out an online relationship, and now I plan to never have one again, lol, it just kinda happened.

I think I've decided that I'm going to take a break until I go off to do whatever I do after high school. The girls around, it seems, have no interest in someone like me or with my dreams, so I guess I'll go elsewhere, and definitely not the internet, lmao.

I've always believed that there are different types of love in your life. You have your puppy love (usually early teens), your first love (high school/early college), your true love (later in life). There are also various degrees in between.

When I was 27 I had the privilege of loving a man that totally rocked my world. I've never forgotten him or what we shared but we were not meant to be. I know I still have feelings for him and I compare every man I've dated to him. Don't get me wrong he was not perfect but he was unlike any man I've ever met. I may never find another love like that but I am glad to have experienced that love in the first place. As much as I loved him I had to walk away and that hurt worse than anything else. He had some issues and the relationship was not healthy in the long run.

Why does it seem like we have had this conversation before? Dude, you have got to get off the internet. I don't mean this in a mean way, but its just like you are setting yourself up for failure.

Meeting members of the opposite sex from the internet is almost always a really bad idea. (Trust me, I've done it... Four times.) Just remember, though, as bad as what happened to you, it could be worse. She could have just been trying to scam you for money. She could have actually been just trying to get you to come there to have someone to torture and kill. She might even be someone who just enjoys toying with people'* emotions. (The following are probably not applicable to a 12 year old, but they happened to me and it emphasizes the point...) She could be engaged and just lying to you to have someone to cheat with. She could have severe mental issues, including delusions of grandeur, hallucinations, and megalomania. She could have been a druggie. You may have gotten your heart broken, it'* happened to almost everyone, but it could have been worse. But, you'll find someone eventually who will actually care about you for who you are, not what you represent and that it makes her look cool to her friends.

Nah, I've had plenty of time to cool down now. Me and a bunch of friends hung out on the square today pretty much all day. Destpite what I said above I was being a typical single teenager today... hitting on our waitress and everything, lmao.
