Relax, I know, and so does every other man out there, that sometimes its really difficult to NOT make women the center of your world. Develop your non-romantic interests, cars, sports, current events, whatever, be a well rounded individual whether you have a GF or not and live your life.
and to add to Vince'* 6 and 8, your goals and lifestyle will likely change a BUNCH between now and age 25. I married (committed to marry anyways) at age 20, and looking back, am really amazed at the amount of change I went thru between 20 and 25. We just celebrated 13 years married today, but bud, let me tell you, they werent easy during about the first 7.
Get comfortable with who YOU are, trust your gut, and never compromise your beliefs. Makes sleeping at night easier anyways

Dont make or brake your life on a girl. Its fine to be single. I dont think girls are you main issue right now. I think you should evaluate your life and what your looking for if your resulting to "dating" someone online.
*edit-what do your parents think about this?

take this for what you think it is worth I made the MISTAKE of getting married young. I do now regret I did it but honestly it has made me who i am now 23 almost 24 and divorced. I will say this I don't see the rush in doing all the "grownup things" anymore. I actually would like to go back to a younger age things are easier and less complicated. I will say this listen to the older ppl, you may not think they have the answer but at least they have been there or at least a similiar situation. Women will come and go but family will stick by you. If i knew then what I know now I would spend more time with the ppl close to me. I guess my best advice is to not grow up too quick. Find a hobby or something that makes you happy and stick with it. One last thing if everyone is doing it it doesn't mean it is the right thing to do. I am not saying be a lone wolf just learn right from wrong and do the hard right over the easy wrong. just food for thought and you can pm anytime if you need to talk

Hey, all nice guys feel that way. Most young girls don't know what the heck they want, most young guys don't either.
I am not really going to give you any advice because I think you have already gotten some very good advice already.
Just know that we are always here to talk, and most of us will never judge. ( I can't speak for everyone, but so far all I have seen is a good group of guys and gals.)
I am always willing to talk if you ever need to.

You're lucky if she IS only a 12yr old from Texas. When I first started reading this, I thought "oh no...it'* a scam." I know a 49 yr old man who "feel in love" with a "single mom from Russia" on the internet. This chic lured him in, then gave him the "I just had a car accident, I have no money, I don't know what I'm going to do" story... He sent her $500 and never heard from her again.

You know, I've had all night to think about it, and the more I've thought about it, the more I'm not hurt, I'm mad. How in the he!! could you do something like this to someone? Just play around with them like that? Just some people don't care I guess.
