Gone fishin'
Took my 3yr old fishing today. This was the first time she ever went, and I haven't gone on like 20 years.
Had one that got away, then I managed to land this monster

.... ....
I swear, this must have been the smallest fish in there.
But, all in all I would rather have caught this than nothing at all.
BTW, that'* not my pole. My daughter lost interest and still had a worm on her hook, so I didn't want it to go to waste.

That'* the whole reason I am doing it. Don't really have much in common with 2 daughters, so I figure fishing can be a bonding thing.

She adorable.
Jeremy (the youngest stepson) was 5 and cought one that big too, except he just HAD to eat it! LOL I got two little peices that barely made a half strip of bacon out of it. It was his first fish ever and he was 5.... I've got to find that pic!

I would love to see that pic. My daughter wanted nothing to do with the fish. Well, she liked the fish better than the worms.
Hey, this give me an idea.
There'* gotta be a good amount of fishers on the Club. Gotta plenty of good fishin here, we should get together and have a meet and fishing trip. Lots of good scenery here for cruising and pics.

Went fishing three nights this past week with my son. We had a great time. He caught one of the largest bull frogs I have ever seen. He said he was not trying to catch the frog. Right. LOL
My son will be 8 in a month. He is finally baiting the hook, sometimes, but still does not take the fish off of the hook.
We have a choice of 3 ponds that are 5 minutes away from home and we go all the time for about an hour and a half after dinner.
Keep going fishing with your daughters. Wally world and KMart have some great deals on rod combos for small children.
