they replace the fuse
i get the car back

car goes back in and they repair "a" wiring harness

car goes back in tech replaces the pump
12 hours later pump melts down and goes on fire?
whos to blame? mother nature?
EDIT: oh forgot to add, before repairing the harness
it also went for pump failure and they "reflashed" the PCM

3800'* ....are not known for head gaskets. Actually the HG on a 3800 is known for being darn near impossible to blow. This isn't a 3100, 3400 or 3500

i lost it, my friend with his 02 GP also did, and i read many others when i used to be on Gpona before
My point is, every car/engine have its flaws. GXP is not different than any other.
My GXP is not perfect, but definitely doesnt catch on fire by itself and for no reason.
and if it was the car to blame, GM would have made me pay the 200 deductable that i pay everytime i take my car in for service

Can't say I've ever seen a blowen head gasket on a 3800. Never seen a blowen LIM gasket either, just very bad ones that seep a little.
Now where did I put that stick, I want to poke you some more.
