if you can find them for reasonable money, some yards want twice what aftermarket costs are for oem stuff

if the dealer didnt charge twice what every body else does they might get more regular business

The problem is the mechanic is the one doing the work but he is getting screwed. Most mechanics only see about 20-30% of what the dealer is charging. And warranty pay is a joke. Yes dealerships charge a premium but it'* not a easy buck for the mechanic most of the time. And the flat rate system creates dishonest mechanics giving the honest guys a bad reputation.

i meant nothing bad about the techs, the owners of the dealerships are scamming this money for no work IMO

I bought a brand new car...once. And that ^ was the only reason I went to the dealer.

thats the only reason anyone goes, till the one dodge dealer started screwing me on the free oil changes even and i got in a fight with the manager. now i dont take the car back for anything at all. not worth the trouble

I'm thinking about keeping an eye out for that. Should be able to get one for a reasonable price if they ever get one in at the JY. Only have one allure there currently.

I have been trying to enjoy winter as much as possible. I got the dog out for a walk the other day.
