Giant 1,100lb Hog killed.

OK. I think you're right. It probably is being held up by the backhoe.
BUT, the fact still remains that the one leg doesn't look "stressed" from all the weight being supported by one limb. It looks too relaxed. And look at the other back leg. It looks like it'* relaxed as well. That leg should be flopped down a little more.
And, the other pick with the backhoe pulling the pig out of the raven looks fake too. 1,050 lbs. is a lot of weight at that angle for the backhoe to easily accomodate. It looks pretty steep.

I believe the hog was probally that big, how ever I don't think it was all that "wild". Something that big isn't going to be moving to fast. Also I heard a radio interview with the kid today where he said he SHOT 16 times and HIT it 8 or 9 (**** poor acuracy rating if you ask me ) if that'* true than he had to reload that sucker 3 to 4 times.

Hogs can be hunted year round with the hunter’* weapon of choice. Preserve Hog Hunts are great for the young hunter as well as the young at heart!
I think this hog was raised that big to raise some publicity for the reserve.

Preserve Hog Hunts
Our European Boar and Feral Hog Hunts take place behind two miles of low fence. The terrain has everything that Lost Creek Plantation has to offer: From steep pine hillsides to hardwood creek bottoms, hogs have plenty of places to hide in the diverse cover.
Tree stands and shooting houses are provided for our hunters to use.
For the hunter seeking an exciting challenge, we offer the opportunity to spot and stalk trophy hogs.
