Those prices are not bad Karl, I wish I could find something that cheap here.
I definitely want the Supercharger after feeling what a Grand Prix feels like with one, I mean if I find one hell of a deal on one without one, then I'd consider it, but I'd really love to have one.

Right now the only one I have to look at with one is the Black 2006 GT with SC, it has like 146k miles, and is 5k though, and that is as low as he can go because he has a loan on it he has to cover to sell it.
I worry about a car with almost 150k on it though, because I am sure it is probably a matter of time before the transmission will need a rebuild..

What else got the Series III SC motors in them?
I ultimately want the Pontiac Grand Prix, but if I can find a similar good looking car with that same motor I may consider it..

I spent a little more time looking for a GT with an SC or a GTP, but could not find any in my area, it is a shame that car I went to look at was not nicer, it had been put through hell from the looks of it..

Found a decent one in NC, no SC though, but a 2008 with a few thousand less than the 2006 with 146k I am looking at.
My brother is not going to ride that far with me though.

2008 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX

And another in NC, costs a bit more, but it looks good and has low mileage for the money!

This one is close enough, but there is only one pic, so I can't tell much from the pic.
It does not have a Supercharger though, so I'd only consider buying it at 5,000.00
It has almost 20k less miles than the Black GT, it has no SC though.

2008 was last year of Grand Prix had the base and the V8 GXP
Other super charged 3800 would be MONTE CARLO SS 2005 IMPALA SS 2005 and some BUICK PARK AVE ULTRA 2005 .
Not all ULTRA'* are supercharged

Do the Grand Prix 5.3L V8'* have the same issues with head studs that the 4.6L V8'* had?
Both are Northstar V8'* right?
I think I read that after 2004 they got better, I hear about some using ARP head studs and that they worked well..
Not that I can afford to go with the GXP, I do love the sound of a V8 with RWD though, I miss a good RWD car!

They are selling pretty cheap on that list, I wish they sold that cheap around here, I have looked and looked..
FRDKBURG is the only one I see that is VA, pretty sure that is Fredricksburg, VA...

Its a Chevrolet 5.3 but as I understand it has a special shorten block to fit the Grand Prix sideways.
The list I sent you of prices is nation wide what they sold for not just down here,

Ahh, so the 5.3L should not have the head stud issues that the 4.6L ones do?

As for the list, I know, I was saying that I don't see many places from VA listed, but everywhere else.

No, the 5.3 does not have the same issues as the northstar. It does have a tendancy to shatter the 4t65e behind it however before 100k miles.

Going to look at the black GT with SC today, guy told me there is one interior light that does not work, may be the bulb, either way I'll find a way to fix it, and out some LED'* in there.
CD player does not work, but that is also fine, I have my 500.00 old Pioneer deck that I could install in it..
Hopefully this car is in as good of shape as I am told, and as it looks, I just with I could get one with closer to 100k, 143k is a bit high... Thought it was 146k, but it is actually 143k..
