3rd year of college we drove to Fort Lauderdale for Spring Break. That was in 1998. We stopped at a gas station in Georgia and filled up the rental car at $.89 a gallon.

yep, i started driving in 99, about 1.35 a gallon. i couldnt PUT 20 bucks in my tank back then. now i cant ever get a half, heck, a third! my car back then. red 84 Pontiac 6000! the ONLY 2 door 6000 i have ever seen in my whole life! i miss that beast...
