I went to the mid-south airshow last weekend, we had the Blue Angels here, a bunch of ww2 planes, a friend of mine has a 1951 Hawker Seafury that was on display and group of 8 A-10 Warthogs doing simulated ground attack runs. The airshow you went to looks more impressive than the one I was at. A majority of the work I do is at airports in the memphis area, I am a foreman on a runway crew doing asphalt and concrete work so I get up and close to planes all the time. I just did a new apron at the Spain airstip on Mud island here, alot of ww1 and ww2 planes are stored there. I have seen simulated dogfights between 2 P-51d'* and a BF-109. I also do alot of work for the TN air national guard, nothing like a C5 coming at you as your patching the end of the runway
