It'* simply not feasible for everyone to quit buying gasoline. Think about it.
And if you think that boycotting for three days will do any good, it won't. That just delays your spending. On day 4 you'll make up for all the gas you didn't buy on day 1, 2, and 3.
The government needs to intervein to stop this madness.
And...when converted, our price per gallon is less than our friend'* to the north price per litre.

The majority oil the U.*. imports comes from South America, not the Persian Gulf. With more and more countries making a demand for oil(China being the foremost) the price inevitably goes up.
Last I checked it was 2.19 for regular, 2.39 for premium at the station I go to.
