Wow, never been THAT close to one before. We sat on our back porch and watched one follow the highway about a mile behind our house a couple years ago. Knocked down about 5 houses and a buncha trees, but only killed 1 person. Woman was afraid her house was gonna fall on her, so she got in her car. That second a huge tree fell on the car. House still looked new, go figure. :? That 1 mile away was enough for me, lol.

Crazy pictures
The weird thing is, those tornadoes hit Muscatine only a couple hours before my wife flew in there for the weekend . She didn't miss them by much. I think she'* bringing a few pics of the storm damage, so I'll post 'em if they're worth seeing.
