What about Montana? Did everyone forget about him? I would say he was the original but then it'* all been a progression. I would have to disagree about the mobile QB being a fad. I think it'* the direction the NFL is going to continue to go in but then it will be a preferance thing like the "West-Coast Offense". Some teams will stick with pocket passer like Manning and Harrington while others will continue with players like Vick and McNabb. I enjoy the additional threat that a running QB has. It can keep the D on it'* heals.

Favre IS coming back this season, they said so during the game sunday. I think he had no idea he was throwing it to that area of the field. Probably what cost them the game was dumb offensive play calling (taking the ball away from Green when he was on a streak), and that 4th and 28 or whatever pass that the Eagles should never have caught. He is one of the few QBs I have respect for in the NFL, his consecutive starts record one of the main reasons. They just dont make em like they used to.
