Just a little update since my surgery...
To date i've lost 23 lbs and my blood pressure has come down so much that my family
doc has taken me off 1 of my BP meds, only 2 more to go.
My first 2 weeks post-op i lived on broth, jello, and apple juice. Then the next 2 weeks (almost) i've lived on creamed soups, pudding, applesauce. NOW today i had my first meal i could actually chew. 20 grams of chicken, 2 brussel sprouts, and 2 tsps of mashed potatoes. The best meal i've every had..
but boy am i full.
This was no easy task as some ppl don't take to solid food for some time, but so far it'* staying down...
I feel like i've just had a big Thanksgiving dinner..
Thanks everyone who have sent me PM'* to see how i was making out i really appreciated it.
Debbie
