Finally.
Well, approximately a week ago, I started a project. I was going to put a 3" lift on my 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Well, to start off, it took a WHOLE LOT longer than what I thought it would have taken. This was my first time putting a lift on a vehicle. Throughout the project, we encountered quite a few problems. First we had trouble lining up the upper control arms, then all 4 of the rear upper shock mounts broke, had trouble getting the leaf spring bolts out, etc. We had to drill out the shock mounts and retap them. It took us a day and a half of doing that because of how hard it was to get a drill to the mounts. Then we kept snapping the drill bits. But after a long time of working and not being able to see our progress, we started to make bigger steps.
Now that it is all done, I LOVE IT! It looks REALLY good. I have some 31 inch BFG All-Terrain TA K/O'* on some black 15x8 Cragar Soft 8'*. It makes the vehicle look SOO much more badass. I will try to get some pictures up soon, but first I have to find that darn camera that I lost. I will also put up some pictures of the system that I have in it. The boxes that I made aren't carpeted yet, cause I ran out of funding. I still have to change out the speakers in the sound bar in the back, for rear fill. Hopefully pics will be up sometime tomarrow or Friday.
