I have seen it, a great movie, it really gets you thinking afterwards you see it, i loved the layout and how every detail had a place of its own and was shown at a precice time. I come from the former Soviet Union and basicly the same thing is going on now in Chechnya its just that it is so obvious that no one talks about it that much, also with current political status in Russia this kind of movie would never be allowed to hit the screen.

I'm not a MM fan at all.
1. Bashes America overseas.
2. Character assassinates Charlston Heston.
3. Lashes out when people character assassinate him (hyprocite)
4. Is a stupid fat white man (like his book bashes)
5. Twists numbers about gun violence in BFC (doesn't use population corrected numbers)
6. Carefully edits each scene.
7. Doctors shots to intercut with real ones.
8. Makes many hairbrain arguments without backing himself up (his latest book)
9. His employees say he'* crazy.
10. His employees say he'* abusive.
I could tell from day one this guy was a crack pot. He'* crazy left, just as bad as O'reilly and the bunch. But he'll kill you if you compare him to them.

I am not a Micheal Moore fan because I believe he does twist the truth and his viewers see only enough to make his point.
I have not seen F/911 but i think I would like to. I think the movie will open people'* eyes and get them thinking.
I am not a Bush fan either because, again, the truth is twisted and they tell us what they want to (for ex. weapons of mass destruction). Where are they?
I think it all comes down to politics and money. After all there were no weapons of Mass destruction..so what was the war for?
Sadam, once the number one most wanted man, has been "released", so to say, and I think he will escape and soon be running that country again. Some of the people of Iraq are afraid to speak and afraid because of things they have already said in fear he will rule again and take revenge.
So what was the war for?
I think it'* crazy to risk others lives for personal gain/satisfaction.
Now, Bush is the leader of our country and I believe most americans stand behind him, but he should not abuse his powers simply because he can.

I dont want to sound mean but you are wrong on both your points you made. There have been WMD'* found. There were about 13 rocket shells with serin in them, a number of other bombs that were not registered with the UN. And its going to be hard trying to find them because he had so much time to hide them because we didnt go in there right away. And that is a big place over there with a bunch of places to hide.
On your second point, Saddam is not a free man. In writing the Iraqi'* have custody, but the coalitian has actual physical control of him because Iraq doesnt have the proper security for housing him, and i doubt that he will be handed over until the coalitian knows for sure that there is no doubt about him escaping.
The war, I think, is "preventive maintenance." You all do it to you car, you change the tires before they blow out because you dont want to get into an accident. You change your oil so that your engine still runs. Its the same priciple. We learned the hard way that we need to do preventive maintenance. I dont want thousands of more Americans to die because some thought that Saddam had nothing against us and he wouldnt hurt us either. He has killed thousands of his own people, what would he do to foreigners he doesnt like?

Saddam needed to be removed for sure, but there could have been more honesty going in.
and an off topic note, I am really impressed with the knowledge our Canadian friends have of the US and the politics associated with the US. Sadly, I cannot say most Americans are as well versed about Canada, myself included. We have gotten so used to the "easy solution, magic bullet, one size fits all" sound byte style of life, that its nearly impossible for most of us, again me included, to think outside the box. And usually that box is CNN or FoxNews.
Whether or not MM'* F911 is TRULY accurate or merely spin, it DOES offer promise to help people ask the hard questions, and start thinking again.

And does anyone else think that it'* starting to look like Nam over there? Aren't we trying to "assist their military" and getting the crap guerrilla'd out of us? Or am I just nuts? :?

I havent seen the movie and i dont intend on seeing it because i look at it as someone trying to sell me thier point of view. I think he has a lot to say and this is how he chooses to do it. I know enough about the situation to figure most of what is going out for myself, i dont need MM'* help. What i really wanted to say is about the war is that i dont think we went over there for oil or money. I think we went over there partially to get rid of saddam because we dont like him and partially to begin to stabilize the region so we can route out the enemies of our country. And yes the administration has been planning this for a long time, even before 9/11, and people are right about the admin'* ties to big oil but just because bush knows someone who know someone who knows someone who is related to a terrorist, doesnt mean he is supporting our enemies.
